Call for Entries
Diamond Manufacturing a member company of the IPA invite you to submit entries for consideration of your most unique application of perforated products in a design concept. This years' contest has two categories, architectural installations and industrial or commercial designs. In addition to the $2,000 Grand Prize award, additional cash prizes of $1,000, and $500 will be awarded.
In addition to the cash prizes, each entry will gain valuable recognition through exposure on the IPA website, as well as possible inclusion in future industry and member publications. Entries require a release of rights in exchange for recognition or inclusion in publications.
The contest runs from July 1 to September 15, 2008, and will be judged in October, with winners announced November 1. It is requested that all entries be submitted on diskette and mailed to the IPA Office by September 15th, attention Delores Morris, Executive Secretary. Diamond Manufacturing Goes Green
Diamond Manufacturing Company believes in being environmentally responsible. In this regard Diamond is proud to announce their Go Green initiative. The perforated metal Diamond Manufacturing produces is 100% recyclable and wastes no material in its process. Perforated metal also has unique properties that help reduce air and water pollution as well as noise pollution using perforated metals acoustical properties. Placing perforated sunscreens over windows helps to reduce energy lost in the heating and cooling of buildings. Diamond continues to increase the use of returnable packaging materials as skidding and is researching the use of rail freight to become more fuel efficient.

Diamond Manufacturing Co. Integrates Stone Perforating Co.
Diamond is pleased to report that the integration of Stone Perforating Company is complete. All of Stone's talented production employees have successfully been transferred to the Michigan City plant, as well as General Manager, Jim Murphy. Diamond has integrated six Bruck perforating press lines into the Michigan City and three Bruck press lines into the Wyoming, Pennsylvania plant.
